Just killing time until school starts....

I've been in College Station for a week and a half and what have I done? very, very little if we're talking about things that have visual results. I have sent a lot of snail mail. I guess that's good, huh? I received a letter from my newest soldier, an Army specialist, who is married and has two little boys, so that provided some motivation to get some snail mail sent on its way.

Becca and I went to see "Meet the Fockers" yesterday afternoon. Pretty funny stuff. Then Becca, Barbara, and I went to supper at On The Border. Yummy quesadillas.

So after dinner, I come home, change into my pjs, and watch tv (while thinking about doing dishes) and somebody knocks on the door... whoever it is has the peephole covered, so I do just what I'm not supposed to when I'm home alone and not expecting visitors... I open the door. It is Miss Tiffany Brown and Hoyt McMillan. Crazy kids. They're on their way from Houston to Fort Worth and detoured through College Station to get Freebirds and visit me and Miss Langham. Totally awesome and unexpected.

So I have lots of stuff that I SHOULD do this week. How much will I actually get finished? I'm not sure, but if you talk to me, ask if I've accomplished anything yet. I'll know what you're talking about.

Never make someone a priority while allowing yourself to be an option.
